How signing up works
- You enter your email and tick an unticked box agreeing to receive the newsletter, including clearly labelled sponsor ads. We record this as your consent:

- We send one confirmation email. Nothing else is sent until you click the link in it (double opt-in).
- Once you confirm, you get a short welcome series and then the weekly newsletter.
Buying credits or using a tool never signs you up automatically.
What we record
Your email address, the exact consent wording, when and where you signed up, when you confirmed, and a one-way hash of your IP address. We keep this as proof of consent.
Sponsors
The newsletter may contain sponsor messages. Each one is labelled "Ad · Sponsored", we never share your email address with sponsors, and sponsors don't influence our advice. See our sponsor and affiliate disclosure.
Unsubscribing
Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link, and the email headers support your email app's own unsubscribe button. After you unsubscribe we keep only your email address and the date, so we don't email you again.
