Last updated: 16 October 2026.

These terms are between B L Notts Holdings Ltd (trading as CVTailorly), a company registered in England and Wales (company no. 16782785), registered office 54 Pathfinder Way, Castle Donington, Derby, England, DE74 0AJ, ICO registration ZC275706 ("we", "us"), and the business buying advertising ("you", the "Sponsor"). We are not VAT-registered, so no VAT is charged.

1. Who these terms are for 1.1 These terms apply to every sponsorship and advertising product on cvtailorly.com: the Main Homepage Sponsor slot, banner ads (tower, banner and mobile banner) and sponsor slots or cards (together "Placements"), whether bought through the self-serve portal (/sponsors) or by email. 1.2 You confirm that you are buying in the course of a trade, business, craft or profession. Consumer cancellation rights (including the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013) do not apply. If you are an individual buying for personal purposes, don't buy a Placement. 1.3 These terms, the order details shown at checkout or in our written confirmation (the "Order"), and the ad labelling rules on our disclosures page form the whole contract. If they conflict, the Order wins on price, format and dates, and these terms win on everything else. Your own terms (for example on a purchase order) do not apply.

2. Products, prices and term | Placement | Price (no VAT) | Term | |---|---|---| | Main Homepage Sponsor (exclusive) | £600 per 30-day period | 30 days from the Start Date | | Banner ads (tower 320×1200, banner 1456×180, mobile 640×200) | £100 for 1 month; £300 for 3 months; £600 for 6 months | As bought | | Sponsor slots / cards (logo 400×400) | £149 for 3 months; £249 for 6 months; £399 for 12 months | As bought | 2.1 Prices are the prices shown at checkout on the day you order. They are one-off payments. 2.2 The Start Date is the day your creative goes live after we approve it (clause 5). The term runs from the Start Date, not from the date of payment. If we approve your creative more than 5 working days after you submit compliant creative, we'll extend your term by the extra days. 2.3 A month means 30 days.

3. Exclusivity (Main Homepage Sponsor only) 3.1 During the term, the Main Homepage Sponsor is the only sponsor shown in the "Main sponsor" section of the homepage (https://cvtailorly.com/). 3.2 Exclusivity covers that section only. It does not stop us showing other Placements, banners, partner content or our own products elsewhere on the site, including elsewhere on the homepage, and it doesn't give you category exclusivity (for example over competitors) unless the Order says so in writing. 3.3 If the slot is already booked, we may reserve the next available period for you by email. A reservation is confirmed only when you've paid.

4. Payment, renewal and cancellation 4.1 You pay in full and upfront, in pounds sterling, through Stripe at checkout when you sign up. We don't offer invoice or credit terms, and no Placement goes live until the checkout payment has been made. 4.2 Nothing renews automatically. To continue, place a new Order before your term ends. First refusal (Main Homepage Sponsor): the current holder can renew for the next period at any time until 7 days before their term ends. If they haven't renewed by then, the next period is released for public sale and anyone can book it. 4.3 Your cancellation: (a) before your creative goes live, you can cancel by email for a full refund; (b) after it goes live, you can stop the Placement at any time, but fees for the term are non-refundable except as set out in clauses 5.5, 8.4 and 11.3. 4.4 Our cancellation: we may end a Placement on written notice if you materially breach these terms (including clause 6 or 7) and, where the breach can be fixed, you don't fix it within 2 working days. In that case no refund is due for the remaining term. 4.5 If we stop a Placement for our own convenience, or the site or slot is unavailable for more than 3 consecutive days for reasons within our control, we'll refund the unused portion pro rata (or extend the term, if you prefer).

5. Our approval of every ad before it goes live 5.1 After payment, you submit your destination URL, headline, body text, and logo or banner image (the "Creative") through the portal or by email. 5.2 No Creative goes live until we have reviewed and approved it. We aim to review within 1 working day of receiving complete Creative. Saving Creative in the portal submits it for review; it does not publish it. 5.3 We approve or reject Creative at our reasonable discretion, against clauses 6 and 7, the CAP Code and the law. We may ask for changes. Approval is not confirmation that your Creative or landing page is lawful; that is your responsibility (clause 7). 5.4 Any change to approved Creative (including changes to the content of the destination page) needs fresh approval. If the destination page changes materially after approval, we may pause the Placement. 5.5 If we reject your Creative and you can't provide acceptable Creative within 10 working days, we'll refund you in full. 5.6 We host images ourselves. You must not supply tracking pixels, scripts, iframes or third-party ad tags. We do not set cookies or similar technology for you.

6. Content rules Creative and destination pages must: 6.1 be legal, decent, honest and truthful and comply with the UK Code of Non-broadcast Advertising and Direct & Promotional Marketing (CAP Code), the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024 (unfair commercial practices), the Business Protection from Misleading Marketing Regulations 2008, and all other applicable law; 6.2 be obviously identifiable as advertising (we add the labels in our Ad labelling standard; you must not remove, imitate or hide them, or make Creative look like our editorial content, tools, scores or buttons); 6.3 not make claims you can't substantiate with documentary evidence held before publication (CAP 3.7), including about pay, job outcomes, interview or placement rates, or qualifications; 6.4 not advertise: jobs or schemes that charge job seekers a fee to apply or be placed (see the Conduct of Employment Agencies and Employment Businesses Regulations 2003); unaccredited qualifications described as accredited or regulated; pyramid, MLM, "earn from home" or get-rich-quick schemes; gambling; cryptocurrency or high-risk investments; payday or high-cost credit; alcohol, tobacco or vaping; adult content; weapons; political or campaigning content; or anything targeting or unsuitable for under-18s; 6.5 not discriminate unlawfully (Equality Act 2010), for example in job adverts; 6.6 not collect CVs or personal data in a misleading way, and comply with UK GDPR and PECR on the destination page; 6.7 not infringe anyone's intellectual property, privacy or other rights; 6.8 not contain malware, redirects to different domains, cloaking, or links that change after approval. We may refuse any advert we reasonably think could mislead or harm job seekers, or that sits badly alongside our editorial content.

7. Your warranties and indemnity 7.1 You warrant that: (a) you have authority to enter these terms; (b) the Creative and destination page comply with clause 6; (c) you own or have licensed all rights in the Creative; (d) any regulated activity you advertise is properly authorised or licensed. 7.2 You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, resize, crop (without changing meaning) and display the Creative, and to show it in screenshots of the site, during the term and for archive and compliance purposes afterwards. 7.3 You will indemnify us against losses, damages, fines, costs (including reasonable legal costs) and liabilities arising from any third-party claim, or any regulatory complaint or ruling (including by the ASA, CMA, Information Commission or Trading Standards), that results from your Creative, your destination page, or your breach of clause 6 or 7. We'll tell you promptly about any claim, let you conduct it (where reasonable), and not settle it without your consent (not unreasonably withheld).

8. Takedown 8.1 We may pause or remove any Creative immediately, without notice, if we reasonably believe it breaches clause 6, it is the subject of a complaint or regulatory enquiry, or it puts users at risk. 8.2 We'll tell you why, by email, within 1 working day. 8.3 You can submit corrected Creative for approval. Time during which a Placement is paused because of your breach is not added back to your term. 8.4 If we remove Creative and it turns out not to have breached clause 6, we'll extend your term by the time it was down, or refund that period pro rata. 8.5 We'll cooperate with the ASA and other regulators, and we may give them your contact details and Creative.

9. Editorial independence Sponsors never pay to change our guides, examples, tool results, CV scores or generated documents, and we never endorse a sponsor unless we clearly say so. You must not imply that we endorse you.

10. Data protection 10.1 We don't give sponsors any personal data about our users, including CVs, email addresses or identifiers. Reports are aggregate only (impressions and clicks), on request. 10.2 We process the business contact details you give us (name, work email, billing details) as an independent controller, to run the contract (Article 6(1)(b) UK GDPR) and to keep accounts (Article 6(1)(c)). See our privacy notice. 10.3 You are an independent controller of any data you collect from people who click through to your site. You must comply with UK GDPR, the Data Protection Act 2018 and PECR for that data. We are not your processor and won't act as one.

11. Liability 11.1 Nothing limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, for your indemnity under clause 7.3, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. 11.2 Subject to 11.1: (a) neither party is liable for loss of profit, revenue, business, goodwill or anticipated savings, or for indirect or consequential loss; (b) our total liability under or in connection with these terms is limited to the fees you paid for the Placement concerned in the 12 months before the claim. (Reasonableness test under the Unfair Contract Terms Act 1977, ss. 3 and 11.) 11.3 We don't guarantee any number of impressions, clicks, conversions or applications, or uninterrupted availability of the site. If a Placement is not shown for reasons within our control (clause 4.5), your remedy is an extension of the term or a pro rata refund.

12. General 12.1 Changes: we may update these terms for future Orders. Changes don't affect an Order already paid for, unless the law requires it. 12.2 Force majeure: neither party is liable for delays caused by events beyond its reasonable control; if a Placement can't run for more than 14 days for that reason, either party may end it and we'll refund the unused portion. 12.3 Assignment: you may not transfer the Placement without our written consent. 12.4 Notices: by email to hello@cvtailorly.com, or to the email you gave at checkout. 12.5 Third parties: no one else has rights under these terms (Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999). 12.6 Governing law and courts: these terms and any dispute (including non-contractual disputes) are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
