Supporting statement examples (UK)

Schools, councils, charities and care providers often shortlist on a supporting statement rather than a cover letter. Each example below answers a person specification criterion by criterion.

• Teaching Assistant supporting statement example – A worked UK teaching assistant supporting statement for applicants with no school experience, answering a person specification criterion by criterion.
• Support Worker supporting statement example – A worked UK supporting statement for support worker and care jobs, new to care or experienced, mapped to a person specification criterion by criterion.
