Tips for a primary teacher CV
- Lead with QTS and the year groups you've taught.
- Name the phonics and maths schemes you know. Schools want someone who can start without retraining.
- Add any subject leadership, even small, such as running a club or leading an assembly rota.
- Most schools use an application form, so keep your CV consistent with it.

FAQs
Do schools want a CV or an application form?
Most state schools in England ask for an application form and a personal statement. A CV is still useful for agencies, independent schools and international schools, and helps you fill in forms quickly.
